Six hours in Paris with Diane Delucchi

With little time and no agenda Diane and I dumped ourselves into the middle of Paris and then started walking. The rest unfolded a fun and enlightening day, packed full of memorable moments inclusive of trying to hit up all the major landmarks and in the process stumbling across; prep for the LGBT parade/celebration and all that comes along with that, prep for a major event/meet-and-greet with the players of Euro 2016 – the European cup Soccer (my title) that is happening now, lots of police and security packing automatic rifles, the reality that Paris does not believe in offering public toilets for the thousands of people who visit each day, and negotiating the massive crowds and traffic after coming from rural Spain. It was slightly bizarre finale to a great trip. Onward!
